This staircase will have 13 risers, the going dimension for this staircase is 1460mm.

When ordering please select your rise height you can choose a height between 2500 and 2700mm
The Rise is the Floor to floor Height.

650mm overall width.

The main difference between this staircase and the Budget spacesaver Flatpack is the thickness of the treads, the Space saver Kit also has less flexibility in the sizes we offer.

This staircase is made to the requirments set out in the UK Building Regulations document K for Alternating Tread Staircases.

Note - Please Note Treads on Alternating Tread Staircases require a Anti Slip Resistant Surface applying following installation - The Staircase is Not Supplied with any Anti Slip material and it is the responsability of the client to ensure this is carried out. Recomendations can be found in Document BS EN-15644 2008.

The Spacesaver staircases we produce are designed to meet the UK buiding regulations Part K sections 1.22 to 1.24 for Alternating tread Staircases.

As we only supply the staircase the responsability for meeting the other requirments lies with the customer.

A few of the other general requirments with Alternating Tread staircases are :-
1. The staircase must have handrails to Both Sides.
2. The Treads must have slip resistant surfaces.
3. A Alternating Tread Staircase should only be used if there is insufficient room for a normal staircase.
4. A Alternating Tread Staircase should only be used in a Loft conversion where the staircase serves only 1 habitable room, togerther with if desired a bathroom and/or WC. This WC must not be the only WC in the dwelling.

Due to the design and pitch of alternating tread staircases the user relies on familiarity together with regular use for reasonable safety.

Please note when ordering your Spacesaver staircase that this staircase is to be tailor made to your specific sizes and has no value to anyone else but yourself, due to the staircase being a purpose made item we cannot offer a refund.
